Adell holds her Series 6, 63 and 65 licenses, as well as her Life, Health and Accident License. A life-long learner, she is currently working toward her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation as well.
Throughout her time at EFS Advisors, she has valued her relationships with various mentors who have shaped her along the way. Her father, Scot Hanson, CFP®, encouraged her to pursue a career as a financial advisor and she is proud to be following in his footsteps. At the start of her career, Adell worked side-by-side with Josh Decker, CFP®, whom she attributes much of her advising style to today. Another colleague of Adell's, Steve Berger, was not only the kind of an advisor, but also the kind of person she works to emulate in her relationships with her clients. With Steve's passing in the fall of 2017, she makes it a point to live up to his legacy each-and-every day, as she manages many of the relationships he established with the company years ago. As she continues to refine her expertise within the firm, she recently partnered with another experienced advisor, Jim Johnson, where she continues to learn from his leadership and instruction. Finally, she credits EFS Advisors' president, Kent Schutte, for his passion to never stop learning and growing as an advisor and a person.
Adell and her husband, Corey, live in Maple Grove with their 3 spoiled cats. In her spare time, she loves to go on long bike rides, travel the world and volunteer. If you ask Adell what her perfect afternoon entails, she'll tell you it involves sitting on a sunny patio with good friends. Adell also enjoys running, painting and watching HGTV, where she finds fun new ways to spruce up her home. Adell is passionate about inspiring women and puts this energy into her volunteer work on the executive board of her sorority, the Phi Mu Alumnae Chapter.
